Who we are – Dorset & Devon Holiday Cottages

Gemma & Ben Matthews

Whilst we are a new business we have many years of experience to offer. Having owned one of the largest holiday letting companies in the South West until 2022, we have over 18 years of experience within the industry. Living locally, our goal is to establish a genuine local business in East Devon & West Dorset that benefits the community and provides excellent service to both owners and guests.

We take time to understand what an owner requires when choosing to let their property, as this can differ from those who purely run commercially to those who want to use themselves and cover costs, and anything in-between. Regardless of the reason you want to let your holiday home, we understand it is important to you and offer a proactive, flexible service to your requirements to help ensure you maximise your property whilst also assisting in maintaining and operating safely.

As a business we understand that your holiday home is important to you and your family. We will therefore work with you and offer our best advice to help you maximise your property within your guidelines to ensure you are comfortable with the arrangement.

We provide commercial guidance, assist you in navigating the necessary legislation, and remain available to address any questions or concerns you may have. Our dedicated local team works alongside a larger network of trusted local companies with whom we share extensive experience, ensuring efficient service delivery to both property owners and guests

We understand the local holiday letting market and equally the expectations of guests and work closely with all to ensure we meet these expectations and proactively offer any feedback or advice.

By only operating within a certain geographic area, we ensure we streamline our marketing and services to therefore maximise for our owners and deliver the highest level of personalised service with the region.
