Beautiful garden with views over the sea. Could have stayed weeks watching the clouds race over Lyme Bay and drinking tea in the garden

A magical location with a wonderful view of the changing seascape. The cottage was impeccably clean and well equipped and everything worked well. I counted 23 different species of plants in flower on 6 April in this special garden. As an elderly couple (81 and 93) we found the sitting room seats very soft and low but realise this is not an issue for most visitors. And the hilly geography of Lyme quite challenging but a wonderful visit and thank you for letting us stay! PS our Touran fitted fine into the garage but best to reverse in according to my husband….

Having visited Lyme Regis many times I have finally found the perfect spot. Wonderful location and a perfect position overlooking a delightful garden and a stupendous sea view. Everything was to an excellent standard and the off road parking space was a major plus. I cannot wait to visit again and cannot recommend this home more highly.

1 East Cliff is situated, as per the name, on the East side of the town, just a short walk from the town centre and onto the seafront. Lyme Regis is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty at the point where the Dorset and Devon coastlines meet at the heart of this small stretch of a natural World Heritage site. A popular holiday destination for generations this once busy port is famous for its sandy beach, its picturesque harbour, protected by a 13th century Cobb Wall and of course fossils, which are still being found to this day.From traditional family holidays, romantic weekend breaks as well as stunning scenery and glorious coastal and countryside walking Lyme Regis has it all plus also a number of independent shops, galleries, cafes, restaurants, pubs, theatre and even an museum and aquarium, or simply sit and relax in the Langmoor Gardens and enjoy the view across the beachfront to the surrounding coastline.
