The Ash is situated just a few miles outside Lyme Regis on the Dorset/Devon border. Within a few minutes you can access Trinity Hill and it's beautiful woodland walks with a variety of forest tracks and pathways to explore as well as areas of open heathland dedicated to wildlife. The Village of Uplyme sits in the valley below and offers a small local shop and a pub from which you can follow the riverside walk into Lyme Regis, with the drive to Lyme Regis' famous Cobb under 5 miles from the property.To the West are the towns of Seaton, Beer and Sidmouth and the East into Charmouth, famous for its fossils and onto Bridport and West Bay, offering a lovely town with a fantastic harbour and mixture of cafes, pubs and restaurants.
